Samsung is increasing support for the S Pen in more devices

Samsung’s S Pen is generally connected with its Galaxy Note series, however that will no doubt change in the coming years. The recently disclosed Galaxy S21 Ultra will accompany S Pen uphold — Samsung will even make independent S Pens for the gadget, including a Pro model that empowers Bluetooth connection for Air Actions gestures.

In light of the company’s assertion to SamMobile, Samsung might be fabricating those S Pens for different gadgets, too. It told the distribution that it “plan[s] to expand the S Pen experience across additional device categories in the future.”

The full statement reads:

“We are committed to innovating new mobile experiences that flow seamlessly and continuously to make our consumers’ lives easier and better. We’ve made the bold decision to expand the S Pen experience to Galaxy S21 Ultra, and plan to expand the S Pen experience across additional device categories in the future.”

What “additional device categories” signifies stays not yet clear. Samsung cell phone boss TM Roh recently affirmed that the organization will bring a portion of the Note’s “most well-loved features” to other Galaxy gadgets.

A lot of reports that circumvented a year ago highlight the Galaxy Fold getting S Pen uphold later on, it’s that non-Note gadgets won’t include a similar sort of consistent stylus integration.

While those bits of rumors said that future Fold gadgets will uphold the stylus, they purportedly won’t send with one.
